Sandra started riding Lucinda, a 14.3 hand Lipizzan mare in 1997. Lucinda was a spunky, talented mare that required absolute balance of the rider and clever timing. Sandra learned a lot from Lucinda and they advanced together, competing at Second Level up to Prix St. Georges. Lucinda helped Sandra earn her scores to become a USDF "L" Graduate at Second Level and scores towards her USDF Bronze & Silver Medals. They competed musical freestyles at Second and Third level and rode numerous routines in the Isaac Royal Equestrian Theater. Lucinda was an excellent performance mare that sparkled in front of an audience. Lucinda was sold in 2005 and currently lives in South Carolina.
