July 11 and 12 was the first USDF Recognized show at Isaac Royal Farm. Sandra rode both Vienna and Rory at Fourth level. Vienna won her class on the first day with a 65%! The weather was beautiful even though it had been raining for all of June. Other riders from Isaac Royal Farm did a beautiful job as well including Kaylee Clark, Robin Brittelli, and Caitlin Brittelli. A special thanks goes out to the show secretary Marjorie Kasten for all her hard work and to all the volunteers. |

On July 25 & 26 Sandra showed Vienna and Rory at the second Isaac Royal Farm show. Vienna scored up to 65% and Rory scored to a 62% both at Fourth level. Sandra earned her scores to fulfill the requirements of the "r" USEF Judges Program.
Sandra hopes to go through the program in 2010.
The showgrounds looked beautiful as always. Carole Rose (owner/trainer of IRF) does a great job making sure the grounds are well groomed and ready to accomodate riders from all over Maine.

Sandra participated in the Fourth of July parade in Vinalhaven, Maine this year. Sandra rode for Salt Pond Farm, a facility that she gives clinics at. Salt Pond Farm is owned by Britt Radley who gives lessons on the island. Sandra found her horse Douwe on Vinalhaven last summer and has been giving lessons consistently during the warmer months. The new website is under construction but there are photos uploaded at: www.saltpondfarm.com |
