Sandra audited Session "B" of the USDF "L" Judges Program in Goshen, NY. Deanna Thompson, a close friend and Academy student at Isaac Royal Farm, is participating in the program to become a dressage judge. Sandra needed to audit the program to fulfill requirements for the next level of judging. The instructor for the weekend was Gary Rockwell, an Olympic level judge who recently judged in Beijing. "I was happy to see that Gary kept telling the demo riders to "let go (of the contact) and see what happens....". He likes to see riders be relaxed and loose with their horses. He gave a lot of encouragement and constructive criticism for the participants and even included the auditors." -Sandra

Sandra gave lessons in Tallahassee, Florida at the end of February. She teaches at Southern Oaks Equestrian Center owned by Marsha Hartford-Saap. Currently Marsha is participating in the Extreme Mustang Makeover being held in Florida. Her black mustang mare Onyx is progressing very well under saddle learning canter, turn on the haunches, and rein-back in addition to a balanced and steady walk and trot. Marsha has taught Onyx beautiful ground manners so the mare is very safe and easy to handle. Click here to see updates on Marsha & Onyx.
