Besides being a dressage professional, Sandra owns two businesses and offers her services as a web designer. She has been drawing and painting horses since she was a young girl and started her first business, Equine Spirit Art in 2000. She painted custom wood pieces such as peg racks, trunks, ornaments, and jewelry boxes using vibrant colors and simple, expressive horse designs. In 2008 she created calligraphy designs for jewelry and tee shirts. Her products sold through a business called Woofhoof. She was on the marketing, sales and product development team.

In 2009 she changed her business name to SandraB. Designs and expanded with newer designs and more products. Sandra wanted to pursue her business independently and branched off from Woofhoof to promote her Maine made, eco-friendly products. In 2010 she began a new business venture, the Maine Equine Artisans, to help promote other equine artisans in Maine. She is a firm believer in supporting local, small businesses and keeping her products made in Maine as much as possible. She is constantly expanding with new artists and products. She travels to horse shows and trade shows selling products and meeting some amazing new customers. Visit her store often for sales, the monthly giveaway, and to read about each featured artisan.
