August 2008

August 16 & 17 was the last USDF Show show hosted at Isaac Royal Farm for the 2008 season. I was able to ride again 5 days before the show so I ended up competing Vienna and Rory. They did well considering we didn't have much time to prepare. Congratulations to my friend Deanna Thompson who got her last score to enter the "L" Judges Program! Also to Laura Hosmer and Morgan Smith who got their First level scores towards their Bronze Medals.

September is the start of preparation for our Equestrian Theater. The dates of the performance are October 4 & 5th, and the 11 & 12th. Saturday shows start at 7 pm and Sunday shows are at 3 pm. There is limited seating so call ahead to reserve your tickets. 207-564-3499. This show is unique and entertaining. I play a large role in the theater with the riding, choreography, editing, and I also will be doing a lot of bellydancing with the horses.

This video is from October 2007 and it was our last ride caught on video. It was also Lydia's last performance since she now lives in New Hampshire.
